Folkmoot Recognizes 2016 Volunteers
In appreciation for more than 15,000 hours of service to the Folkmoot organization, volunteers are invited to an awards dinner on Thursday, August 25, 2016.
This annual event begins at 5:30pm at the Folkmoot Friendship Center located at the historic Hazelwood School. Dinner will be catered by Mama Burson and son, Martin Burson. Music will be provided by bluegrass ensemble, Blackberry Jam and the award ceremony will begin at 6:30pm.
Volunteers should RSVP to Volunteer Coordinator, Doug Garrett, (828) 452-2997 by Monday, August, 22 at 5pm.
