Folkmoot is launching Saturday Markets this fall in an effort to make the Friendship Center a vibrant and useful place for the community. Each market will operate from 5:30pm until 9pm on the Second Saturdays of each month. Markets will include vendors, dance lessons, food and beverage and live music. We will not be charging an entrance fee and hope to build a fun and safe Saturday night scene for people of all ages. We are depending on word of mouth to reach arts and crafts entrepreneurs like you! If you are interested in joining us, please fill out the application below. For each event you participate as a vendor, the cost for the February and March Markets is $20; however, if you refer two friends who become vendors, you will receive one free market entry. Folkmoot will promote this event through press releases, social media and our electronic newsletter. We are uncertain of how many people we will attract to these first events, but know this event will grow and we appreciate you working with us to make it happen!
Folkmoot is an international folk festival held since 1984 in Waynesville, North Carolina and surrounding communities.
